[Structural Formula] [CH₂CH(CH₃)]ₙ
[Molecular Weight] n × 42.08
[Appearance]
This product is available in both solid and liquid forms. The solid appears as free-flowing white powder or granules, while the liquid is milky white, uniform emulsion.
[Physical and Chemical Properties]
Fracturing thickeners, also known as viscosifiers, come in various types. When added to fracturing fluids, they increase the fluid’s viscosity and thickness. These are essential additives used in enhanced oil and gas recovery operations. They typically consist of polymers, crosslinkers, stabilizers, and other chemicals that form a network structure through chemical reactions, thereby making the fluid viscous.

[Application]
Thickeners for hydraulic fracturing are used to increase fluid viscosity and improve proppant carrying capacity. By enhancing the viscosity of the fracturing fluid, proppants (such as sand or ceramic particles) can remain suspended and be evenly transported into fracture networks, improving permeability and hydrocarbon recovery. Thickeners also help reduce fluid loss during the fracturing process, thereby lowering costs and improving overall efficiency.
[Product Advantages]
1. Increase fluid viscosity;
2. Optimize fracture conductivity;
3. Enhance oil and gas output while reducing extraction cost;
4. Minimize reservoir damage;
5. Simple and convenient to apply.
[Usage and Dosage]
The thickener should be mixed with water and used immediately. Stir thoroughly before use. The recommended dosage is generally 0.2% to 0.5% of the total volume of the fracturing fluid.
[Packaging]
Solid products are typically packed in 25kg bags with paper-plastic composite material. Liquid products are usually packaged in 1000KG IBC totes, 200kg drums, or 25kg drums. Customized packaging is available upon request.
[Storage Conditions]
Keep the container tightly sealed during storage. Store in a cool and ventilated place. Avoid skin and eye contact during handling and use. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
