It is used as a heat stabilizer for halogenated polymers such as rigid PVC, exhibiting significant synergistic effects with stearoyl benzoyl methane and dibenzoyl methane (β-diketones). It is employed as a catalyst, resin crosslinking agent, resin curing accelerator, additive for resins and rubber, and as a precursor for superconducting films, heat-reflective glass coatings, and transparent conductive films, among other applications.
